The Radical Resilience Lab

The Radical Resilience Lab (RRL) is a pilot program for innovating real-world, market-driven models of urban resilience. We begin with reconnecting humans to the soil right beneath their feet, transforming disused urban spaces into thriving food forests that serve as a growing medium for community health, personal wellness and city climate solutions.

CAL FIRE

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) are dedicated to the fire protection and stewardship of over 31 million acres of California's privately-owned wildlands. Through the California Climate Investments (CCI) Urban & Community Forestry Grant Program, CAL FIRE works to optimize the benefits of trees and related vegetation through multiple-objective projects as specified in the California Urban Forestry Act of 1978 (Public Resources Code 4799.06-4799.12). These projects further the goals of the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32), result in a net greenhouse gas benefit, and provide environmental services and cost-effective solutions to the needs of urban communities and local agencies. Co-benefits of the projects include increased water supply, clean air and water, reduced energy use, flood and storm water management, recreation, urban revitalization, improved public health, and producing useful products.

Kiss the Ground

Kiss the Ground is an education and advocacy nonprofit advancing initiatives across four distinct programs: Advocacy, Farmland, Education, and Media. In addition to our program work, we bring impact projects to life—convening key players in the regenerative agricultural movement and catalyzing collaboration, action, and innovation. Everything we do as an organization is aimed towards achieving our overarching mission: inspiring participation in global regeneration, starting with soil

Our Farmland Program provides scholarships for producers to attend trainings and provides the technical support needed for them to successfully transition to soil focused regenerative agricultural management practices. Our cost to support one producer through training, consulting, and soil testing is $8,000.
